I’ve just lately realized that there is a glaring similarity between how I cook and the way I approach life. I can follow the recipes but I mostly just do what feels or tastes right. I am not so particular about measurements and ingredients; I act on instinct and sometimes, I daresay, depending on mood. You can’t even say that I cook the same recipe the same way twice. There’s got to be the slightest difference the next time around although essentially, the base remains intact.The results have not always been positive — it’s mostly a hit-and-miss. But there were times when they turned out to be unexpectedly good. However, that is also problematic because I wouldn’t have any idea how to do it again.
